Super moto conversion!!!

We don’t see many alta’s Here in the Uk

And I am being told by a guy that the dme is the same as the super moto

Just as long as you can,
Swap wheels and the suspension!

This does not sound right to me!

Can anybody clarify!

Major differences are the wheels, suspension, front brake, and the SM has an on board charging system. I also think the triple clamps are different but someone will have to verify that one. And the front fender.

Triples are the same across all models.

Ahh, ok. I was thinking the width was wider for the SM. Thinking back a little more I believe someone along the line said that’s why the Altas clamps were wider than KTM (when talking about the dirt models), which was to account for the extra width needed on the SM. But maybe I dreamt that too

I did already here in Germany! EXR streetlegal including SM wheelset. That was a kind of hack with the TÜV, i can tell You!
