been riding eMC for about 4 years and like everything about the power -
Really like motor output is very smooth -
One Big difference I was not to sure about at first was Not having engine Braking / No Regen on bike -
first few rides it felt different but in a Good way -
I got used to Not having engine braking Quickly and Really Like it now -
riding I can back off throttle and not have bike slow down -
easier to control speed Better / smoother -->
I started riding 2 strokes and switched to 4 strokes 20 yrs ago -
Looking back at all the time and money spent to make these gas bikes be More Like the eMC of today -
Slipper clutch to control engine braking and Rekluse clutches to keep engine in power band better /stalling -
Now can adjust motor braking with button and the motor is Always on power band -
One thing I suggest for riders to try is to Turn Off engine braking -
its like riding a 2 stroke but better -
for me
not having bike slow down every time I let off throttle has made me faster Overall -
Hand Brake -
for me hand brakes are Great -
I ride bicycles so was no change -
hand brakes are Much more controllable than my foot in a stiff boot -
the only time I have needed foot brake is when stopped on hill and needed both hands
to mess with camera gear -
on bike Im building will likely have both hand and foot rear brake -
Now that riders have had time to get used to these Good Differences
have been seeing eMC winning races by large distances -
Having Quiet bike is game changer -
I rode bike 200k on a Fantastic concrete parking lot that was 50 ft behind a housing complex -
nobody even knew I was there -
eMC do need to make some kind of sound when turned ON -
soft tone or music - something -
its Easy to forget and turn/bump throttle - i have done it several times -
left bike turned on 3 hours yesterday - opps
for riding in a group / racing / passing the bike has to make Some sound
Music horn tone or my favorite Buzzing Zapper sound
Its Dangerous for everyone -
yelling Beep Beep or what ever is not the answer
this has to be fixed before bad things happen -
I was riding in forest a lot - there was many big deer -
fast quiet bike it was a problem -
got string of tiny christmas tree bells and mounted on bike -
problem solved
