For me the TE bars are kind of a must, they mitigate sharp/medium/large impacts very well, there's also front-to-back forces in play that go unnoticed until one tries a system that moves in those directions. For some folks the flexible or moving bar systems aren't precise enough, too mushy & vague feeling. I've come to like mushy very much ..
Doubt the TE bars would accept the reflex mounting method as the bar end ID is much smaller than an aluminum bar, you'd have to bore it quite a bit larger I believe - likely not a good idea to be removing material from those given the material type.
