It was a good presentation and the guy surely knows his stuff.

His analogy/comparison to the iPod/shuffle was prophetic, and how Apple was NOT profitable with the device for many years, until the cost came down. It seems that Alta had attempted the same strategy with the price drop from $15K to $12K or so this past year.

I'll hand it to them though, they tried their very best to make it all work.
