Thanks for that idea, Oded - I'll check it when I finally get off my butt and hook up MT. At this point, I honestly think it's the magnets degrading from use. When new, the bike had strong 'cogging' w/key off and was difficult to maneuver uphill into the garage sometimes, hot or cold. Now it has weak cold cogging, and almost none when hot. Fwiw, I brought my Zero in for retiming when it lost torque and started surging, turned out the timing was fine.
The motor timing process in MT is completely automated. Just click the motor time button, go through the prompts on the screen and your set! (Just make sure your bike is lifted up since it will be cogging forward and backwards, rotating the wheel.)Is the motor time automatic with MT or do I have to pick parameters?
