Just found this again. Many interesting interviewees, including one with Derek Dorresteyn. It was interesting to listen to him again, after 1.5 years has passed, now with a different perspective.

That's funny you posted this. I just got done last night, listening to his interview. It does give a lot of perspective of the quality design and build they put out. Each time I get on it I grin and even find myself sitting, looking at it just parked there in my shop.

All the ex-Alta guys, including Derek, are still under the NDAs, so they can't answer most of the interesting questions that we want answered.

As far as the future plans, @Judaslefourbe et al. -- have any of the former Alta guys started or joined new cool companies that we should keep an eye on?

All of them did actually.
We ended up with people in all the cool startups of the Bay Area

You have to be more specific! I know they are all cool, but which ones are the coolest from the electric motorcycle gearhead viewpoint? Which ones will produce the next 2-wheel Tesla or a self-driving Redshift?

I just sent them an email begging them to consider developing an Alta like e-dirt bike, Lol.
