@Mark911 is loaning me a set on 52mm WP Cone Valves, Triple clamps, front wheel, and a unobtanium front brake caliper with larger diameter pistons, all for my Amateur SX race at Aneheim 2 on January 20th. I stopped by his house today to work on fitting the front end and to revalve the stock rear shock. He's making me feel like a factory rider :ricky:

NICE!!!

Is this a Yamaha fender with a Husky front number plate?

ITs a Yamaha front fender and front plate that Mark modified to work with this setup. Its just temporary. I'm planning on fitting KTM front plastics on the bike.

He sure does make you look factory! I hung out with Mark at LACR awhile back...That Ferrari spends much of its time on a closed course track!!!!

Looks great! What year KTM fender did you use?

2018 front fender and plate. The triple clamps currently on the bike are from a 2012ish KTM, so i used the Polisport KTM Front Fender Restyle kit to convert the 2012 bolt style to the 2018. When i give back the front end to Mark, i will 3D print a new bracket that will adapt this fender and plate to the stock triple clamps. It will require one adapter for the fender and one adapter for the number plate.

Would it be advantageous to use the 2012 bolt pattern or the 2018 pattern for the adapter?

The 2012 KTM style still mounts the fender underneath the lower triple clamp with 4 bolts. The 2018 style has 2 bolts underneath and 2 bolts in front, adding structural rigidity. There wouldn't be much benefit in adapting a 2012 KTM style front fender to our stock Alta triple clamp as both use 4 bolts underneath to mount and that design lends for excessive wobbling of the front fender.
