Spare Battery Pack

Has anyone been able to buy a spare battery pack? I've been inquiring to my dealer for about 6 months and still don't have an answer about cost are availability. Since my pack was a very early unit and subject to TSB replacement I even had my dealer inquire about buying it back from Alta and they said no.

Finally got the word from my dealer. No spare packs are available. Alta simply doesn't have any just sitting on the shelfs. Warrantee and outright failures are the only exception and you'll need to return your original pack so they can re-purpose whatever parts are salvageable.
