I am replacing my 48 AER fork seals with SKF. Local shop did not have a fork seal driver so I came up with this DIY driver:
Scrap piece of 2in tubing, cut down the middle, cut out ~1/4 notch from opposite sides flip and do the same from other side, wrap with tape and cut only one side, put a bit of taper on the seal side with sandpaper. Notches and tape help keep it together while sliding down the stanchion. Took about 15 minutes, fits perfectly and works great.
Hope is may help someone in the future.
