We have recently thwarted several attempts by scammers to sell either stolen or non-existing bikes and bike parts. Unfortunately, one of them quietly succeeded. Do not fall victim to scammers.
Do not trust anyone here who has no forum posts or very few posts and a low "Reaction Score", or "Likes" as seen in their user profile.
If in doubt, use the regular PayPal payment for "Goods and services" and prepare to pay their 3-4% fee.
For large purchases consider escrow services, such as escrow.com.
Never send money to unknown people using PayPal "Friends and Family", Zelle, Venmo, Western Union, or any other payment method that offers no explicit buyer/seller protection.
