I've had my seat off several times for plastic work, and each time I noticed this large motor/pump looking component directly under the front seat area, where it begins to angle up. This thing is shown in the manual's page 79 (to the right of the meter) and page 80 (RH side of LH photo), but I couldn't find any mention of what it does or is called. Any ideas? It sure looks critical, and I think it may become active during charging (maybe). Are there two coolant pumps, one for the battery and one for the motor/controller?

The flux capacitor?
Very close. My guess would be a large power capacitor for the inverter. Pretty common.

A capacitor! Replaced dozens & seen many hundreds of 'em, never one quite like that though. Nothing even close on my Zero.
