Those wouldn't be ideal, they're a simple check valve that water can actually migrate past, and can also put the gearbox under a light vacuum in some situations. What would be better would be something like that using GoreTex or other water impermiable membranes. Those will allow air pressure...

Sounds like a good use case for a GoreTex water barrier if the vent passage is baffled decently enough to avoid said barrier from getting oil contaminated?

I'm guessing that adapter is hard set for 240v with a fixed resistance on the control line, some chargers will just roll with that, guessing others want to see a full proper handshake sequence?

I placed an order with a local dealer on March 29th, just got an email from Stark today noting it's shipped from their US warehouse with a VIN and ETA to dealer of 5 to 7 days. 4003 for the VIN for those tracking. That was WAY faster than I anticipated, I didn't think it'd be leaving on a boat...

There really isn't a 'good' solution, if the ability to toggle the mode exists, it'll get abused, which is why they instead have the lockdown for a time window.
