    Broken display - solution?

I dont know if it helps or means anything, but when datadog replaced the battery on my MX, the hours reset to zero on the display, but the mileage stayed the same.

Withdrawn Wanted, Rear hand brake for 2019 exr.

The Clake adapter pressurizes the rear reservoir, and still retains the original foot brake sensor.

    BAD NEWS

A few years ago I bought a Motoped, which is basically a mountain bike with an XR50 engine in it. I bought it through a Kickstarter funding campaign, and assumed after their initial funding was met and bikes were delivered, they would keep on building them into the future. Not so, the designer...

Nearly half? If you paid that much, you got hosed pretty badly, not once, but twice by Alta.

    BAD NEWS

I think for ease of manufacture, such a protector should be made as a drop in of the existing unit, much like Trailtech does to protect their computers. I dont see any reason to get rid of the existing plastic case, but add an additional box of aluminum around it, with the earlier mentioned...

    Battling at Glen Helen

I concur on its cornering abilities. I was never a believer in how much of a difference no rotating inertia made until I rode an Alta.

    Dal Soggio for 4CS?

The other deciding factor for me was if I decide to move on from the Alta, the cartridges are easily removed and sold off, and oem stuff put back in. Typically listing a used bike for sale with revalved suspension doesnt seem to get any return on investment.

    Dal Soggio for 4CS?

My opinion is the 4cs is a terrible fork, stock or revalved. But I also think Philip is right in that the Spheres would need revalved for the Alta. If you have a local tuner whos put them into several Altas, then he atleast has a baseline to work with. I chose MXTech Lucky cartridges for mine...

    Possible sources for battery repair?

My replacement battery was sent via FedEx in a nice purpose built plastic case. In the event someone were to replace a few cells, we’re assuming the code 36 would clear itself.

    DecalWorks :)

Mine would have been the early kit as I dropped it off to them 1.5 years ago to use as a template for a week. Then had them reprint it for my EXR 3 months ago

    DecalWorks :)

Both of my Alta kits from Decal Works came with it.

    Anyone running Kreft suspension?

I missed this report prior to now. Although it sucks it didnt workout, them reimbursing every dime to you is still good customer service. Cant wait for your N2D ride report.

How many miles/hours do you have on your ALTA

Wait, what? I thought Kreft recently worked on it?
