    Where is the flasher ?

Thanks Rashid510, I had LEDs with the resistors and removed both to put on some incandescent ones I had in the drawer. Now the dsh light flashes quickly and the bulbs barely light up and are a quick cadence. Any ideas?

    Where is the flasher ?

I have two EXRs and just replaced the turn signals on the one. They are barely flashing, probably due to the ones I took off were LED and the new ones are not. I assume the flasher needs switched over, but where is it? Thanks for the help.

    Wanderings of an EXR

Rix, your bike is in good hands. I wish I was out near Redwolf so we could explore some of that amazing terrain together. I plan on letting your bike see more of the country soon. Here are a couple shots of your old EXR in Colorado.

Alta throttle - all there is to know

If I am interrupting the signal with ANOTHER Hall effect unit it should be metered - not on/off.

Alta throttle - all there is to know

OK, so the idea I wanted to explore is to interrupt the signal wire/wires back from the throttle to the ECU. I wanted to pass them through another "throttle" on a lever to make an electric clutch. This would be so handy ( no pun intended ) for lofting the front end for obstacles in rough...

    ALTA Ignition Key Blanks

I had spares made for both my EXRs and it was the 1611R blank. They work perfectly.

Mark911 said: Also: Please remove every thread and post I've made on the website. Thanks. If you do this there is a wealth of very useful information you have shared with us over the years that will be lost. All Alta owners will suffer from this. Maybe take a break from the forum for a few...

He thought he hated E-bikes, then he tried one! // Supercross racer’s reaction to an Alta EXR

I see one very good and long time local rider. I let him try my Alta when we were riding in Georgia. Every single time I've seen him since then, he goes on how the Alta was the fastest bike he had ever been on and that it was the most fun he every had on a bike. I think he liked it too.

    Best Motovan Ever

I know this isn't a motovan, but the idea will be to buy one of the new Amazon/Rivian vans. You would have the room and all the power to really make an Alta hauler. Until then, here was me yesterday. I can charge from from the batteries as I haul the bike.

General Do you miss using a clutch?

As much as I like the Alta and as smooth as it is, I would still like a clutch. My reasons stem from the technical type of single track that I ride. Smooth has always been the best way to get through some of the muddy, rooted, off camber, just plain nasty terrain. Using your wrist is a gross...
