    Alta Multi Tool member list

I am in Council Bluffs Iowa, I have a laptop set up with multi tool and the cables. I've used it a couple times so I can hook it up and get it going but I am a beginner with multi tool. I would help anyone out that's close by if they need it though!

    New Predator Inverter Generators

I second the briggs & stratton! Not huge and I load it in and out of my van alone. 6500 watts, invertor, 240 v outlet, quiet... I don't know what else there really would be to say about a generator. Bought mine online I think home depot, shipped toy house on a pallet right at $1000

    MXR Moto Gearing options...

12/53 is stock I tried a 13/50,51,52 Ended up going back to the 12 front and actually dropped a tooth on the rear to 52 (also have the 51 but haven't tried it as I like the 12/52). I ride mostly mx and on the faster more wide open tracks I would run out or speed/power dropping a tooth on the...

    Brake pedal tip

This is what I did to leave as much material as possible. Put the pedal in a vise just like it mounts on the bike, cut off the tip (vertical cut) so what you have left is the remaining part of the tip that is molded with the lever part. I backed out the two remaining grip pins and lined up the...

    Brake pedal tip

Finally got around to putting on this rear brake pedal tip. I thought the stock end was a hit small and lacked grip. This was fairly easy to do and should be what I'm looking for no more missing rear brake! 😜

Installing the KYB SSS fork on the Alta Redshift

Anyone tried to mount up the brembo caliper to the SSS for lugs, I'm sure they don't line up wondering what kind of machining can be done? The brembos are pretty damn good but wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I love spring forks, just cannot get used to the air

Installing the KYB SSS fork on the Alta Redshift

Perfect.....the thread I was looking for. Seems like swapping tripple would be the faster/easier ( more $$ though) vrs making a few shims and machining an axle but I could have that done a buddy is an ex machinist and has a lathe at his house. So that brings me to my next question but looks like...

    KYB SSS Suspension

Has any one tried bolting up Kayaba SSS forks straight into the MXR tripple clamps yet? I have my stock set sitting here (from yz 250) and everyone is talking about the spring conversion for the WP's. They are both 48mm.... I have front brake and wheel also this might be an easy swap just to try...

If you have the ktm/husky front fender I'm sure a shop would know what to do....you can see the spots where the new holes will need to be drilled if you take the existing fender off and place the new on on there.Use a sharpie or a paint marker or a scratch all to make the marks in the triple...
